From the moment we walked into Stress Factory, the experience was amazing. Derrick, the security guard, set the tone right away by playing a funny little trick on us when we entered — it instantly put us in a great mood and had us laughing before the show even started. Throughout the night, he was incredibly generous, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which really stood out. We were there to see Vinny, and the entire experience was seamless thanks to how well everything was run. Honestly, every staff member we interacted with was great — friendly, professional, and attentive. You can tell they truly care about creating a fun and comfortable atmosphere. Can’t recommend Stress Factory enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We have been coming to the Stress Factory for 20 years and it never disappoints. It is by far the best comedy club around. Vinnie and his staff are top notch. The food and drinks are awesome and the comedians are hysterical. Best date night as well as being out with friends. Thank you Vinnie for your personal attention and always making sure your customers are taken care of. Jimmy and Gina can't wait to come back for another great night at the Stress Factory!

I haven't been here in years, but I had the opportunity to see one of my favorite comedians Jim Breuer. It's a nice place and it's best to buy your tickets online as soon as you see a comedian, you're interested in because the tickets go fast. They offer 2 shows a night. This place can hold around 300 people. When you first arrive, you have to get in a line( make sure your entire party is there when checking in.) When you check in you're given a number and a table number to be seated. There is a large outdoor tent that has a small stage, and tables with a bar. ( Our Bartender made very good drinks .) We were directed to sit there before we were able to go inside and see the show. They go in Number order so if you’re the first seven numbers, you go in and be seated first. Once inside you have to buy 2 drinks. They also offer bar type food for purchasing. ( it’s ok nothing special.) Parking is very easy. There's a paid parking garage directly next-door to the venue. It cost me $11 dollars to park for several hours. They have tables from wall to wall on the floor and then there's a second level with a railing and more tables and high hats all around. On all the walls are all the different comedians and people who have performed. They even have street signs with comedians names hanging from ceiling. My waiter was Liam. He was excellent, very attentive had a tremendous amount of energy and took care of all the tables around us. He made it fun. When the show is over, you have to present a ticket in order to leave so that they know that you paid and don’t have a bar tab or food tab waiting . I would definitely return because this place gets great comedians.

I recently saw Craig Conant at this venue and absolutely loved it. The space is cozy, and even when it fills up, you still have enough room to move around comfortably and get a great view of the stage. I also appreciated their food selection — it’s a nice change from other comedy clubs that only offer four or five basic snacks. Another big plus is their two-item minimum policy. It’s much better than venues that require you to spend a certain dollar amount, especially when the menu options are limited. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely come back to see him or any other comedian here again.

If you want to see big-name comedians up close in New Jersey, The Stress Factory in New Brunswick is the spot. Regulars already know how this place gets down, but if you’ve never been—here’s what to expect. I came out to see Marlon Wayans, and he was incredible. He had the whole room laughing from start to finish. It honestly felt like a mix of comedy show and family reunion—fun, raw, and real. If you’ve ever questioned if live comedy is worth it, this show answered that with a yes. The openers were great too. There was a local woman comic (her name had “NJ” in it) who had everyone cracking up. I can’t remember her name, but if you do, tag her—she deserves the credit. Here’s the breakdown: Talent: They bring in amazing comedians, and the shows sell out fast. Seating is first come, first served, so the earlier you get there, the better your seats. Parking: There’s a lot right next to the club—super convenient. Street parking is metered and limited. Food & Drinks: Classic bar food—fries, egg rolls, pretzels, pizza. It’s fine, nothing fancy, but it soaks up the drinks. Just know there’s a two-item minimum per person. Staff: The servers were on point—fast, friendly, and kept things moving. You do have to pay your bill and show the receipt before you leave. Venue: The space is cozy and intimate, which makes the comedy hit even harder. It can feel tight during sold-out shows, but that’s part of the vibe. Overall, The Stress Factory delivered. It’s not about fine dining or wide open spaces—it’s about world-class comedy in a setting that keeps you close to the action. Perfect for date night, hanging out with friends, or just when you need to laugh until your face hurts.

I’ve been coming here since about 2006 and I still loveee it. The shows are consistently great and there’s nothing like seeing my fave comedians up close! Mark Normand, Russel Peters (back in the day!), and Sam Morril. The staff is fast and efficient and the food is solid (and doesn’t taste microwaved). Andd even with heavy weekend traffic, they keep the space clean. One thing I always notice at anywhere is whether there are crumbs on the seat before sitting down. (I know it’s a comedy club, but it drives me insane.) I am happy to say it never feels dirty. Also, in terms of convenience, there is a parking deck right next door! The owner, Vinny, has always been great too. I’ve never caught him in anything other than a funny and welcoming mood over the past 20 years.

Had a wonderful experience seeing One Funny Lisa Marie (Riley); great venue, spacious, great seating. Our server Liam was super attentive, every person we interacted with there was a delight. Bonus points for Dave the manager who engaged us in a great conversation about music and growing up and totally sold us on the meet n greet which we were ao glad we did. Highly recommend this gem of a comedy club!!!! And easy-peasy parking adjacent, too. Well done, everyone!

Let me start by saying I love the stress factory. Great comedians, great food and drinks. Now, the negative. Saw 9:30pm Anthony Rodia show. Tickets said doors open 9:00pm. We lined up 8:30pm to get in. At 9:35 they started bringing people in from Victoria s restaurant. This went on til 10pm, because people from the restaurant were taking their sweet time and we had to wait until every Victoria s guest was brought in. If their not ready move on!!!! Then all the VIP people. We stood outside for 1.5 hrs in the cold, no shelter. Everyone was complaining about the treatment. Vinnie, you need to figure out a better way.
